| Our favorite
Story end-of-winter-shake-off-the-doldrums event is a bus trip to
Deadwood, SD. We take our doggers to the dog "spa",
gather our friends and neighbors and take off for the Big Time!!
(Notice the fellow on the left front...he's the real lucky person in
this bus.)

| Here's Shorty
just before we boarded the bus for home. You might notice that
he's just hit a big one and that he is quite happy. Trust me,
that's his happy look. This was in April of 2001.

| And here's
that rascal in April of 2002 pulling the same trick one more time.
Once again please note his big smile!! Shorty was born in Story
and is one of our favorite story tellers when it comes to the old
days. He's seen a lot of changes over the years...he claims the
downfall of Story was when they paved Tunnel Hill. Did I mention
that he seems to be incredibly lucky!!

| Sensing that
Shorty's machine was still hot, our friend Virginia proceeded to follow
his footsteps to another big win almost as soon as Shorty cashed
out. Everyone declared it such a successful and fun trip that
another one is slated for November, 2002. |
