This Labor Day Sunday was  perfect for heading "to the top" for some relaxing fun.  It's been a very dry summer and it's the first time we have seen the mountains without their blanket of snow which makes them the "Shining Mountains."  Cloud Peak, Big Horn Peak...they have always had a little snow left even on this holiday.  But, not this year.

We enjoyed the view of the mountain just before entering the Crazy Woman Canyon as we always do.  The colors could not have been any prettier.

There were a lot of campers from other states in the campgrounds - some "angling" and some others in camo who were obviously doing some archery hunting.  No one had a campfire though, since conditions are so dry that fire danger is extreme until we get some moisture.
