While we are enjoying this "Mexican Winter" weather,  I thought I'd give you a bit of news about the Story Woman's Club and what the group does in the town. You've seen our float for Story Day in almost every Story story...here's this year's version.  We had to bow to the Garden Club for producing a prize winner, but as always, we had fun.

I always have to think about what the name of this group is...Women's or Woman's Club.  My English teachers' words come haunting me and I decide it must be the plural version since there is more than one woman in the club.  But, NO!  Least you & I  commit a grave error in our writing of the name...it truly is to be forever the WomAn's Club.  Tradition rather than correctness wins the day.  (As you come into Story, please note the incorrect spelling on the new sign beside our Balkenbush office. Sh-h-h-h, the sign was a freebee for the club so we aren't ever going to complain!)
