The home is unique in many ways. As with the land, the
owner has been upgrading and remodeling to suit his
particular style and purposes.

The over 4000 square foot home is
on four levels. New siding
has been added in 2006 as well as new windows in most of
the third and fourth levels.

A custom carport was added to
provide a buffer area to the
front porch and to allow entrance and exit from the home
without dealing with the elements.

It was also planned for use as a protected area where winter recreationalists could enjoy a warm fire and some refreshment.
There is storage under the porch
and drop down
shutters which can be opened in the summer.

The supports of the carport are
custom hand crafted
by a local artist using specially chosen logs...
which are massive.

A deck is designed on the top of
the carport and log
handcrafted handrails (like the ones on the porch)
are to be installed as soon as the weather allows.
This deck is one of three on the
various levels. From them you
can enjoy distinct views of the property as well as the mountain
face and Moncrieffe Ridge. Few who live in
Story "between the Pineys" get to enjoy a view and the
sunshine.

One of the decks has a gazebo with
a hot tub and this is included
in the price of the property.
