 This is the spectacular sort of sunrise that you can wake to in the winter. The peak of the ridge is the west end of famous Sullivant Ridge where Red Cloud supposedly watched the Wagon Box Fight back in the 1860's.

 One would think this was a sunset, but in the winter the rises are much more brilliant.
