This "Bullwinkle" has been hanging
around Spring Creek between Loucks
and Glacier Streets. Here he is just a few
days ago trying to figure out  what he is supposed
to be doing during Springtime in Story!

Our Favorite June, 2004 Photo

Our good friend, Harry, risked life and
limb..ok, so it wasn't that scary...to snap this photo on June 23
just a few steps from his front door.
This Bruin was cruising the creek...looking
for a duck for his soup pot, perhaps.
Harry had his wife hold the door open for him
and asked her to just let one of them in...now he's
wondering whether he or the bear would have been chosen.

Our Favorite August Photo

On July 31, Denny and I made a break for the mountains.
We just needed to absorb some of that crystal clean cool air,
dab our feet and our rods in West Ten Sleep Creek
and watch the clouds float over our campfire for 2 nights.
No phones, no message machines, no visitors,
just good books and all the beauty &
solitude of the Big Horn Mountains!!!
It was great!!
Now, we're refreshed and back at work!

Story Day, August 28, 2004
Woman's Club Float celebrating the Women of Wyoming
as a part of HerSTORYic Wyoming!!

The day was cool and bright - the crowds were out
in force.  The parade was excellent and the other
events entertaining!!

The mechanical bull drew crowds...even the more "mature"
cowboys took a turn.

The dismounts were the best!!! We give this one a "10"!
More to come in a  Story Story!

Our Favorite Late November Photo

Here's our September buck (see below) as he
made his way around town.  He's about a quarter mile west of
his previous location.
We should call this Travels With Charley Big Buck.

Don't tell us the deer of Story aren't smart...there's
even a rumor that they can read.  As hunting
season approaches, this big buck shows exactly
why he's a big buck!
