WINNERS OF THE MARCH 3RD, 2007 DRIFT CHALLENGE
The wild winds of winter imposed some restrictions on our driving as February turned to March so we thought it would be fun to hold a contest to see just who had the most "fun" in the neighborhood. 

From the photos submitted the following drifts were judged to be winners in their category.

 

Drift ONE


This drift won the "covers the most area" prize.  Not only did it
get deeper back at the pines, it was long and wide and quite
beautiful.  You can see there still was some work to do
along the driveway. 

 

Drift TWO


This drift won the "I had to shovel this pile" category.
We suspect that the owners of this "drift" were up several
times in the night to keep the path open for their little dogger.

 

Drift THREE


This drift won the "highest drift closest to the house" and
"in the driveway" categories.  Here it is in its untouched - to this
point - state.

And by the way, a week later most all of the snow had melted in the 50 and 60 degree days.
Gotta love that Wyoming weather.
