In February we had a real treat.   While going to a Welcome to Story brunch at the Women's Club we watched a cow moose decide to leave her sleeping quarters and mosey (or moosey) through the library yard, across the street and into the parking lot of the general store.  The comment was heard that, "Story is just a more southern Northern Exposure!"

This big guy showed up at Georgina's dining room window and posed for a number of photographs.   Animals sure like her place.  Last year she had a photo op with a mountain lion!
