Denny went for the mail today and noticed these two
travelers passing by the
Piney
Creek General Store.
The sky is blue and the day is a great one for a brisk walk.
And, like many other travelers, these two did manage
to get a snack from Michele, who works at the store
and just couldn't pass up a chance to enjoy an animal.

And on our way back to the office,
we ran into
Cal (a local author) and his wife, Skye (a local
artist) who were walking their newest family
member, Jake. We found Jake to be just like his
owners - friendly and glad to be living in Story, WY!!
June 9, 2005 brought the first fawn to
our yard. Mom placed him into the lupine field where he laid down
and stayed, obediently, while Mom went out for breakfast. Story is a
really special place to live.
